Mushroom Courses

Our Mycology classes aim to teach small scale home mushroom cultivation of both gourmet and medicinal mushrooms.

You will learn the main components of home mushroom cultivation from spore to fruit body (mushrooms). Each class is setup for a 2-hour period where topics will be in a classroom setting located in the HSSS lab space and out “in the field” of Golden Gate park (a short 2 block walk from the shop).
